This is one of the worst pieces of media I have ever consumed. Not only is the writing of the world/characters extremely bland and the animation/directing/soundtrack completely un-inspired, but -- and this is what sets this apart from all other generic isekai anime I've seen -- it is the most disgusting celebration of vice and immorality I have ever seen.

The core attitude throughout this show is "What would Jesus do? Let's do the total opposite of that! Like sadistic sociopaths!" This show celebrates revenge, rather than forgiveness; cold, premeditated murder/torture/rape, and all sorts of mental abuse. The absolute lack of compassion that the viewer is ... supposed to project themselves onto is extremely worrying...

The MC buys a slave, for God's sake! There is a real interaction before that scene where a character asks the MC if he doesn't see an issue with the condition of slavery, and that if he needs help with his goals if he shouldn't instead ask a free person to willingly help him. The MC's response -- and I'm not joking -- is that he needs a "meat shield" if they get into a fight, and that non-slaves having their own will is too bothersome so he wants total and absolute forced obedience.

I have never seen anything so morally abhorrent be so popular and openly marketed toward impressionable teenagers. If I were an exec at TNK I would have vetoed this as soon as it landed on my desk without a second thought.
